We didn't buy to use as a dog house - recently acquired two Pygmy goats and needed a shelter for them until we could get their barn/shed built. Works beautifully-exactly as described. Easy assembly. Great quality.
For the price, this is a fantastic dog house. The materials are better than I expected, and it provides excellent shelter. My dog is very happy with it.
Instruction are good and it went together fairly easy. My only complaint is that the items were not numbered and it took a minute to figure out what was what.

I love the dog house but your windows needs to be more sturdy. He has already torn it out on the first night. Other than that it's pretty nice

I purchased this dog house for my two 4-month-old sibling puppies, Lab Retriever and Blue Hound mix. The house is bigger than I expected and provides spacious room for both of them. It feels sturdy, looks great, and was a good purchase overall.
The only challenge I've had is that my puppies are at the age where they love to chew everything. While some corners are protected, they still find other areas to chew. It would be nice if more edges had chew-resistant protection. That said, this is more of a puppy problem than a product problem. Overall, I'm very happy with this dog house and would recommend it.

It was very nice and not hard to put together our extra large dog who is a mastiff and Great Dane mix around 150 pounds , just has a little bit of trouble turning around in it other than that it’s wonderful and extremely well-structured

I purchased this dog house for 6 or 7 large feral cats who i feed daily. I put it together and put straw inside and the cats just love it. Soon as it was completed they went right in there. It's on my porch and out of the elements. Great product and took about 1.5 hours to complete.
Just as pictured it looks very cool, especially the door and side window. Good buy too. The funny thing is that my dog is afraid to go in it right now.

Yes, absolutely. The house is crafted from solid natural fir wood. You can easily paint or stain the exterior with standard outdoor-grade exterior latex paint or wood sealant to match your lake house aesthetic or provide extra weather protection.
2. Can the front dog door panel be replaced with a solid panel like the other sides?
Our standard modular panels are pre-configured with the door opening on the front panel, so we do not ship an interchangeable solid wall panel separately off-the-shelf. However, because the structure is made of solid wood planks and a modular frame, many DIY-savvy customers who use these for enclosures or storage find it very easy to patch or fill the front opening using a matching piece of plywood or extra wooden slats during assembly.
