Provide your flock with a safe, dry, and cozy home with the PETSCOSSET Chicken Coop—crafted from premium fir wood for long-lasting durability and effortless backyard poultry care.

Well-built small chicken coop ideal for 2-3 chickens. Customers praised easy assembly ("45 minutes"), sturdy wood construction, and functional nesting box. Some noted sizing limits for larger breeds, tray cleaning challenges when bedding clogs tracks, and concerns about weather durability and predator protection. Good value at lower price points.

Worth the money for sure in my opinion ! Definitely will be buying another one. Easy to put together , toke maybe 35 minutes for me and my husband to put it together . All parts and screws was there, Nothing missing :) . Size is great for my chickens . The build of it doesn't look cheap. Looks sturdy and functional .Edit : June 15,2025 : After using it for one month . Only thing I dont like about it is, the tray if you put too much bedding in it ' You have to put your hand in their to unclog it for it to pull out. Other then that I'd would still recommend it ! I did buy another one because I only have 5 hens and this works for me.

For 130$ this is an awesome little chicken coop! The wood is somewhat thin and light but idk what people are expecting for this price point. Putting this together was extremely easy and nice. All the parts and screws were labeled. All the holes are pre drilled. I think it took me an hour or less to assemble it. And it looks great. Only screw the screws just enough. Don't over tighten them. I would defiantly recommend this coop.

Very simple to put together by yourself. Pretty well built but has a terrible chemical smell. It's been outside for 3 weeks & the inside still smells. Only made to fit for one regular size chicken. One problem is, since it's a mini coup, the nesting box is only usable for one regular size chicken at a time, but it's also not deep enough for them to burrow down deep enough to lay the egg. The other issue is the removable tray. If the chicken kicks up the bedding on the sides, it's hard to pull the tray out with the bedding stuck in the track. So you have to get something like a thin stick or the end of a chicken feather to flick all the bedding out of it, so it'll slide in & out.

Fabulously easy and precise

I put the hutch together by myself in 45 minutes. (Not bad for a 65 year old woman)The directions were clear and simply incremental. The screws were lined up perfectly and there was 1 extra screw for each packet. The hutch is well made. Thank you for making this project so fun and easy.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review!😊
We are absolutely impressed — 45 minutes by yourself is amazing, especially at 65 years young! You should be very proud. It's great to hear that the instructions were clear, the screws aligned perfectly, and the extra screws came in handy. Most importantly, we're delighted that you found the hutch well-made and the project fun and easy.
Thank you for choosing us and for sharing your experience. You've truly made our day. Enjoy your new hutch, and happy chicken keeping!

Very small and efficient for 2-3 chickens. I ended up with 13 so we were able to pass this on to someone else.

It works well for my 3 chickens. No more than that.

Looks good and good value. Fits 2 maybe 3 chickens. My chicken sleeps in the bbq grill and wont roost in it (lol). She does use the nesting box to lay her eggs. Noticed price is now gone way up / Not a good value at 170.00

As a new chicken owner, I looked at dozens of coops before settling on this one - and I'm so glad I did! The all-wood construction feels much sturdier than the plastic I saw. It's the perfect size for my two hens.To make it last even longer, I added a waterproof oxford cloth cover over the roof (just used some basic tarp clips to secure it). This gives extra protection from rain and sun. The girls seem to love their new home !

I bought 2 and combined them in to one, I have six chickens, just the right size for bedtime, 4 areas for nesting, we will see how it goes when they all start laying eggs in a month or two

Item is easy to assemble and light weight for portability. Great if you're looking for a place to store chicks. Currently housing 5 chicks - would really only hold 1-2 full sized chickens maybe 3-4 bantam breeds. Tray makes it easy to clean. Nesting boxes are a little more difficult to clean. Would only recommend if coop was inside an in closed run. A bear or large dog could break the coop pretty easily- item is sturdy but not totally predator proof.

This is the cutest, well made, complete as needed coop. Easily fits 2-3 fill size hens. I bought this for my little chicks as a training coop. I put this coop inside a run. Easy to build if you follow the instructions, everything is provided. You can add insulation liner to roof parts inside, if you want. The material is lightweight and might not withstand heavy weather. I also added a protective cover to the whole roof section to avoid an early ruin. It's a great starter coop too. Or for small animals. Bunnies, a cat, guinea pigs. It's incredibly complete for being so perfectly tiny.

Bought this little house for 2 chickens. 3 could fit comfortably in the house. Very simple to put together. I love the little layer box. It even comes with perches. For the cost of the product I think it has exceeded my expectations.

The bottom of the nesting box can be pushed up, easy fix. I don't get directions well but the way the pieces are made its pretty easy to figure out, had it done in 20 minutes.

It's very hard to clean with the tray coming out theSame side as the entrance for the chicks? Needs to come out the back! Other than that it's easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy for two chicks maybe three but it would be tight. I'm setting it up to a run and the only way I'm going to be able to clean it will be through the nesting box door which is going to be a pain but for the money and not having to involve the hubby it's fine!!

And so do I! I own a 1K coop for my girls. Sadly they all turned on one White Crested Black Polish hen. Henrietta has to be kept separately. Henrietta actually prefers this coop and sits very comfortably.

Wish directions were clearer but it's good quality and I love it.
