Weatherproof Wooden Cat House with Elevated Bottom- PET18

I bought this for my deck so I could sleep at night knowing that I've offered some shelter to the community cats that I love having around! I know Black Beauty (BB) likes it and is grateful for the space when he's hanging out.

Feral cat needed a new house. Didn't come in red so rust-oleum red gloss paint-n-primer. Took half hour to put together. I think it'll do the trick.

Pretty solid, easy to put together.

We have an outdoor cat, and this little house is perfect for him. I did put an outdoor heating pad in it for him to help keep him warm. We have a covered deck, but it still gets a little wet when it rains and the wind blows. So this house helps keep our boy dry too.

This a great product, solid wood, great engineering as there are no gaps inside of the house to keep your feral kitty warm and dry. Also, instructions are clear, all materials are number marked, and you can put this together easily with an electric screwdriver in .30 minutes.I just need to teach my other feral kitty to use it now, but the house is great, and would highly recommend it, also the two story model is good too, I didn't need it, but there is a two story model available too.Thank you for making such a solid product that I can highly recommend. I give it 5 stars for construction, quality and ease of assembly.

I am involved in feral cat rescue, and I bought two of these. One I gave to a client, who was so happy at how nice it looked in her yard. The other I bought for one of my own feral cats. It was so easy to put together, but it took two people to put the roof on properly. That said, I had them together in minutes. I did use some caulking to seal the joints and make it more windproof and waterproof.We had our first rain, and my cat is definitely using the shelter.

Feral cat finally used during a rain. We did have to take the plastic covering the door as he would not use that. During snow or bad heavy rain will just use tarp to tarp off entire area around it to protect him and give dry areas around it. The plastic covering the door scares them.

It seems well made. I am waiting for the other animals to hibernate before I put it out. A note on the outside of the box about the odor and to open outdoors would be a great addition. I appreciate the advice.

Very easy to put together. Probably less than an hour. Very sturdy and overall not too heavy if you need to move. Very clean method to clean it with the large door. Holds up well against all kinds of weather.

Here's why;It's up off the ground so rain or mud won't get inEven with pouring rain we've had, it's absolutely dry inside, totally waterproofSuper easy to put together. 67 yr old woman here - did it myself, used hubbys drill with Philip head bit, took me about 20 min.There is a smell that other reviews talked about, but it's either the wood or the roofing material. No big dealLightweight to move, but sturdy! I secured it anyway to a piece of rebar I pounded in the ground. I attached 2 eyebolts to the back of the house and used twine to tie around the rebar. We get bad winds here at times.The escape door and also the roof raises up on a hinge for easy access.Seriously, buy this. It's really great and my strays come everydayUse straw as bedding inside as it repels insects and moisture! Don't use fabric, blankets etc, just straw.

The assembly wasn't easy at all. I can only post one but the instructions were unclear. You'll need drill and 3/32 bit. I would post step by step videos instructions but I can only post initial assembly step. Manufacturer: reach out to me I have step by step assembly videos.

The cat house is beautiful and really easy to assemble. But, unfortunately, the cat didn't like it and never uses it.

Easy to put together with a drill. Put together in about 25 minutes. Clear instructions. Cat house seems very sturdy. Will probably purchase another one.

Outside cats love it

Put together quickly. I think it's a good product, but there is zero insulation. I will add hard foam insulation, and possibly a heating pad. I like that it sits off the ground a bit and has a 2nd means of egress.

Got it all set up. Porch kitties won't go in it ??
