This was a bit more difficult to put together than I thought it would be. I eventually had a granddaughter (a carpenter by trade) put it together and even she said it was tricky. Having said that, the finished product is adorable and works very well for my 15-year old Chihuahua and 3-year old Yorkie. It is sturdy and is withstanding the Yorkie 's chewing tendencies very well.
It was a little smaller than I expected. My guinea pig is too big to get in the wooden hut.
