My kids love to play in sand , but I wanted something that I could keep covered easily to keep the sand decent . Putting this together is a two person job but pretty easy and didn't take very long. I love that it has a cover to keep the sun off the kids while playing . And even more that the benches fold down and the cover slides down to cover the sand box from weather , debris, animals, etc. definitely worth it!
The entire product is all cedar and extremely easy to assemble. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble the sandbox.. We decided we did not need the awning so I don't know how long it would take to assemble the roof/awning.The best features of the product are the very comfortable seats which can accommodate adults, and then the seats folding down to prevent pets or other animals from using the sandbox. The whole thing is practical and clever designed.
Super happy with us I looked at a ton of different options!! For me. It was really important that everything came included, and I specifically did not have to drill any holes.!! I did not want to drill alignment holes because I knew I was doing this by myself!! Also something I didn't know was that the hinges came already attached to the doors that close on the top of the sandbox I was super happy about that because I don't wanna put anything in the wrong place and then get it all screwed up! My son loves it and he can play without getting extra sun ! Take your time and follow the instructions as your putting it together and you'll be all good :)

Not bad for a made in China piece. Soft finished wood. Tolerances actually pretty good for this type of product. Even being careful with the impact driver still split the wood in some spots. Overall pretty solid product for the price. Probably will last a couple years but would be surprised if it lasted longer than that.
I assembled this myself. It was easy to follow the instructions. The design is great. I love that you can close it and lower the cover. This is a great design for storms to keep the sand dry and protect the cover from wind. My kids love it!
Bought for my 3year-old grandson. His mother and he (!) assembled it and he loves it immensely. Easy assembly, great closing options, well made.
My toddler loves this and it's just big enough for an average sized adult to fit into also. Only giving 4 stars because it's not super sturdy and I'm not sure how long it'll hold up. I did apply a clear sealant spray to it. It only took me a little over an hour to build myself.
I'm really impressed with the quality. It has a canopy can spin all the way around, and it has height adjusters on the sides. You can easily change the canopy height and the angle based on where the sun is. When the sandbox lid is open, it transforms into two benches, It's a quick and easy build and folds up nicely when not in use. It also can fit adult to sit in to enjoy playing with kids, the sandbox lid can be closed and keep the sand from blowing away by the wind.
My daughter hates long hour drive to the beach so I bought this to set this up in our yard. Now I am hands-free and my daughter enjoys playing with sand in the yard it's a win-win for parents. I regret I hadn't bought this earlier. It's waterproof with a cap and has UV protection to prevent sunburn, she can also enjoy it with her cousin and play with friends.
This wooden sandbox is a fantastic addition to any backyard play area for children. The only thing I thought wasn't good enough was that the bottom of it was just a thin layer of cloth that ripped at the slightest tug, and I added layer of sturdy cloth. Overall, this wooden sandbox is an excellent investment for endless outdoor fun.
Generally this product is decent and I'm pleased with the construction of it and the durability. There was one piece of wood that shouldn't have had wholes already drilled in it (the canopy piece), which meant the screws had nothing to grip and the two pieces of wood did not hold together well. About to put it all together, will update if it does not perform as expected.
Easy to put together, extra screws sent, only had the one board that was split, had 3 others that did not have pre drilled holes. seems like a good product for the cost..put 9 50lb bags of sand in box
One of my favorite Amazon purchases! My 17 month old loves it. The wood is not the highest quality wood I've ever touched but it's perfectly fine. I love the little benches that close up and the top shade. It's done well through Florida thunderstorms. My husband put it together alone relatively quickly. Highly recommend!
Great product, very easy to assemble. Very well cut an built an great finish. I see years of enjoyment from this sandbox/play area.
This was purchased for my 17 month old grandson. He loves the sand, and absolutely loves this sand box.. Instructions are pretty straightforward and it was easy to assemble. There were 2 reasons I chose this box. The first, the canopy and I love how the canopy lowers down and covers the top helping to prevent rain from getting inside. The other reason was the rounded corners on the seats. It was the only one I saw with them and for safety reasons I felt this one was the better choice. A little tip for the bottom/floor. If you hot glue the fabric to the bottom edge of the box it will prevent the sand from seeping out from underneath.
Way nicer than I expected for the price. Easy to put together! One person can do most of it but you'll want a 2nd person when doing the canopy. Used 7 48lb bags of sand to fill it.

This sandbox is amazing, it is everything I was hoping it would be. My husband assembled it for the kids a few months ago, he said the assembly was fairly easy and it took him about an hour. I live in the desert, and we have experienced harsh weather during these past months, and this sandbox is holding up very well, it is definitely made out of good quality materials to be durable and withstand the weather. The canopy is easy to maneuver, hut it best to have two people to put it up, because it could be tricky doing it by yourself. The chairs are very easy to fold and unfold, my kids 3 and 5 are able to fold them without assistance. I absolutely love this design, it is so easy to keep use and it keeps unwanted animals out of the sandbox when not in use. The canopy is also waterproof, do it not only blocks the sun, but it also blocks the rain.Overall, I absolutely love this sandbox. It is very easy to use, it is durable and it withstands the weather great. I most definitely recommend it.
