Absolutely love this and so do my cats. It wasn't too bad to put together just a lot of drilling but simple once you get all the pieces laid out
I looked at a number of outdoor catio enclosures before choosing this one. The quality of the wood is decent, it's lighter weight for strips and thinner panels but should hold up fine, in my opinion. Took a good 4 hours to build a solid foundation with 4x4 pressure treated boards, drainage stones, and astroturf. The finish is a decent gray color with white trim. I actually think it looks better in person than in the photos. I hit the trim with a protective coat of white trim and 2 coats of polyurethane all around. That took a few hours. Assembly probably took 3 hours, it's definitely helpful to have a helper for certain parts. My final step is to build a tunnel/ramp from the window to the enclosure. Add another 4 hours for that job. Lol! Overall, the unit feels sturdy enough and I hope Boo appreciates the time, money and effort!
Assembly wasn't too bad with some help'took a bit of time, but the flexibility is great! I love that you can arrange the shelves in different ways. My iguana seems really happy in it'plenty of space to climb and explore. Just had to get a little creative with the setup.
We have had this for about 10 months, and the cats are really loving it. We sprayed a sealer on it, but I don't think you have to. It was somewhat easy to put it together, my husband and I didn't fight a whole lot.
Perfect for my cars
The catio is well-designed and easy to assemble, providing our cats with a sturdy, protective shelter. Each cat has a covered, enclosed hooch for privacy during their catnaps. There's still plenty of space to keep the food and water out of the way.
Perfect outdoor space for 2 cats. They love the play space and the cozy sleeping space too. It was a little time consuming to put together, but with 2 people it went well.

Took a day to put together and directions were pretty good. We put it on our screen porch for 5 kittens until we can get them adopted. They absolutely love it and climb all over it like little monkeys. So cute watch. Excellent purchase.
We are using it indoor for one of my cats. Love it and my cat loves it! He is an older cat and likes to and can jump to the different platforms.
Bought this for my 14 year old cat. She loves to be outside, but I worry. This allows her to be outside and safe. We just put it on our back porch so it stays dry.
Very hard to assemble but lucky my husband know how to build things. Quality is very nice looks cozy with my two cats inside. Very safe

This is exactly what I was looking for. The door on the back aligns with my window, so the cats are able to go out the window in and out of the catio.
Project is a little daunting when you first open the boxes (2). Had to search for the Assembly Instructions, found in Box 1, to get the feel for the job at hand. Instructions are diagrams showing each step of assembly, they are fairly easy to follow once you get the hang of it. Suggest you remove all panels from the boxes and stack in numerical order to ease the assembly process. Ther does not seem to be any significance in the placement of the panel numbers, i.e. on the top of each panel, etc. but for the most part the dowels keep one from installing a panel upside down. Took about 5 hours to assemble, you need to drill a lot of pilot holes for the screws. Also instructions show a hand phillips screwdriver, suggest you get/use a battery powered screwdriver to minimize wear and tear on your hands. Overall we are pleased with the product. We needed a safe enclosure for a cat and 3 kittens (9 months) while we find homes for them... Want a cat??
