What kind of the chicken coop is the best for our hens? It's an important thing before you start raising chickens. There are a few factors that need to be considered.

1.Size  The size of the chicken coop you need depends on how many chickens you want to keep. According to some research, it's about 3-4 square foot per chicken, but if your chickens need to stay in the coop for a long time, the suggested space in the coop is 7 to 8 square foot per hen. It would be more perfect if you add a running cage, it will provide your chickens with more spacious activity space.
